Easy find any files that you have backed up; this program allows you
to make back up copies of your files like no other backup program, first
of all you can select the type of file you want to back up by using the
file suffix control, example if you want to save all your documents you
would add to the suffix control txt,doc,docx or any other suffix that
you are using, the next thing is it never over right a file, so if you
change a document it will keep the original and add the modified
document or if there are other files with the same name it adds the
version change buckets [1] on the end of the file name, this function
has save me lots of time in the past, the next thing it does is check
for copies of the same file then it only saves one copy, you select if
to scan just a drive or the complete computer for that type of file,
there is also a folder function so if you want to just backup everything
in your user folder you can.
- How to install this program?
As this program is portable you do not install on the computer but on
the removable drive, we recommend that you buy a removable 0.5 or 1Tbyte
Drive First plug in the removable drive you are going to install the
FileBackup on, it can be a fixed drive then download the program to your
desktop, open by double clicking it, at this point it will ask for a
password do not enter a password but press the Install button, this will
install the FileBackup to the drive you want to run it from, if you
install it on a removable drive this means you can backup on as many
computers as you like from the removable drive, The first time you run
the File Backup on the drive you have installed on you will
need to enter a password and press set password.
- How to find the FileBackup program?
Locate the program on the removable drive in the folder FileBackUp/FileBackup.exe
double click it and enter your new password, you will receive 60 Days
free tail, if you change anything in the FileBackup.cfg file you may
lose the use of this program and it is not recoverable, you do not lose
the backup.
- How to locate my backed up files?
All files are put in a folder on your removable drive at FileBackUp/Backup
stored in a folder of the same suffix used with in a sub folder of the
first letter of the name of the file stored; this allows you to keep
thousands of files of the same type in one folder.
- How do I just backup my personal folder?
Click the folder button, to backup your personal folder just click
the personal button then select the folder you want to back up and press
Start button.

Note: this program will also copy any file within the recycle bin, so
you don't want them empty the recycle bin first. 
Add all the Suffix to backup in the File Suffix control like
jpg,gif,doc,txt,mp3 then click the Start button at anytime you can hit
the stop button but the program will start from the beginning again, at
the bottom of the FileBackup program there are status boxes this tells
you how many files have been scanned, Renamed, Backed up, or just
duplicates
- How do I change the Password?
Just click the password button and enter a new password How do I
Export this program to a new drive, Please note that any licence paid is
not transferable, press the Export button and slect from the drop down
box the drive you want to export to.
- How does the hide button work?
If you press the hide button it will hide the backup folder using the
windows hide function not recommended as a security device, but will
stop most people finding your files.
- How do I un-hide the backup folder?
Just press the un-hide button, if you want to automatically hide and
un-hide the backup folder just check the auto hide folder box.
- How do I register this program?
You will need to be connected to the internet click the Register
button this will take you to our Pay Pal account where you can pay by

Click the register button enter the code in the extend box then press

Right click on FileBackup.exe and click properties then unclick read
only and click unblock button.
If the Stelf is checked before you start the application it will hide
until it automatically close when done, if you start then click Stelf check box then the application will
just close when done
- I received a Corrupt File message?
It is most likely to be the system date is not set correct on the
computer that you have plugged in to, just set the correct date and
everything should work okay. Or the FileBackup.cfg file has been modified.
it is not possible to unmodified this file. you will need to rename the
folder FileBackup to oldFileBackup then reinstall the program, any
licence will become void as to our terms of use.
You simple just copy the FileBackup.exe file to
your FileBackup folder on your removable drive, do not change the backup
folder or filebackup.cfg file or any Licence will become void as to our terms of
use
